A pair of V Blocks is required for parallel clamping, marking, alignment and checking of cylindrical workpieces or shafts. It is particularly recommended for drilling, milling, grinding and inspection work.

Description

Each V Block has two milled V-grooves with a 90° angle for clamping round material. The sturdy clamp allows the prism blocks to be used on the side surface including the base. The maximum height difference between the two prisms is 0.005 mm. The small prism has a clamping range of 3 to 15 mm, the large prism from 3 to 25 mm. This means that round material with a diameter of 3 to 25 mm can be clamped. The parallelism of opposing surfaces, the parallelism and the perpendicularity of the V-grooves with respect to all surfaces. The perpendicularity of the adjacent external surfaces is a maximum of 0.01 mm. The flatness of the work surfaces is a maximum of 0.005 mm. The pair of prisms is made of steel, has a hardness of 50 to 60 HRC and is precision ground on all sides.
